I’m Miguel.

I enjoy adventure, and the ocean is where I spend most of my free time. Whether I’m fishing, spearfishing, or bodyboarding, I always find a way to reconnect with nature – preferably in liquid form.

I’m interested in business, investing, and strategic thinking. My engineering background taught me to model complex systems, break problems down into simpler parts, and focus on practical solutions.

Working at Electromatic has given me hands-on experience in building and managing a growing business. Along the way, I’ve come to believe three things:

• Improvement comes from implementing ideas, not merely having them.
• A company’s culture is what drives success or demise.
• A leader’s success should be measured only by the success of the team.

I’ve also developed a special interest in investing in financial markets. In 2022, I helped launch Electromatic’s corporate investment portfolio (informally known as E-Finance) with the goal of creating a long-term source of passive income from excess operating cash. Since then, I have managed the portfolio and continue to deepen my understanding of financial markets and capital allocation.
